Emailing the comment to external users
This feature is available if the project manager has configured a mail account for the project.
Email comment to external users
- If the issue was created via email from an external user, the sender's email address is automatically added to the issue's notify list. Alternatively, you can edit the notify list to add the email address of an external user.
- When you "add comment", you will see a check-box to "email comment to external users". If you select it, the comment shall be submitted for emailing.
- In a few minutes, the comment shall be emailed. Please note that emailed comments cannot be edited.
- When the external user replies by email, it shall be automatically added as a comment to the issue.
Tip: Colabolo looks at the issue ID contained in the Subject of the email to associate it with an issue.
